“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 ESV)
A Mission minded church continually seeks to find effective ways to communicate the gospel to non-believers in the family, the community, and the world. In accordance with Acts 1:8 we are pursuing effective methods of sharing the gospel in the following areas. If you would like to join us in any of these mission projects please contact us at email@example.com or (314)293-7729.
We also regularly contribute to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention This allows us to partner with Church Planters and missionaries, here and across the globe for the purpose of spreading the gospel. For more information regarding this program click here. We encourage you to consider giving a specail offering during Christmas (Lottie Moon Christmas Offering) and Easter (the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering) to support both the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board.
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. (James 1:27 ESV)
While we don’t believe this passage means that religion is limited to taking care of the orphan and widow, we believe it is a great place to start. We take seriously the mission to care for those who cannot care for themselves. Thus you can see that reflected in the following ministries we parner with.

Bill Treece and Al Haushalter are dedicated members of our church which serves 5 nursing homes on a monthly basis through the preaching of the word. Our church seeks to support him by sending members to assist residents in getting to the chapels and by merely being their friend. World Changers: St. Louis
The youth will be participating in World Changers in St. Louis, MO.. The World Changers mission trip is a complete approach to a student mission project, which includes personal preparation, group development and an understanding of the on-mission lifestyle. The students’ lives will be changed as they participate in a hands-on mission projects. Students will learn to put their faith into action as they work on a needy residents home and share the love of Christ through their service. They will be challenged to adopt the on mission lifestyle when they return home. They will also be called to move beyond a one-week experience to a deeper level of commitment in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Ways that you can help include donating funds toward the cost of the trip and pray that God would work in the lives of the students and volunteers. One of the goals of Hope is to operate as much like a “home” as possible. First and foremost, to train them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. They will recieve an education and learn the skills they need to survive in the world they face. Upon leaving Hope Harbor, they want each child to be a God fearing, upstanding citizen. They are in constant need of financial support, so please feel free to reach out and help us minister through Lenell Smith.
