Dr. Randy Stinson says, “As men go, so goes the church…Strong men produce strong churches. So, shephered men.” This is exactly what we are seeking to do in our men’s ministry. While there are times when we have events for men to gather as men, the primary goal of our men’s ministry is to disciple men. Author David Murrow writes, “Men don’t follow programs; they follow men. A woman may choose a church because of the programs it offers, but a man is looking for another man he can follow.” So here we seek to minister to men in the following ways: calling leaders to model manhood (Hebrews 13:7-9), preaching and teaching sound doctrine (Titus 2:1-14), and calling men to do difficult tasks by serving the body (1 Kings 2:1-4). On the left you will find two opportunities for men to be discipled more directly.
