At Heartland, our Vision Statement centers on two different areas under which the rest of our ministry functions.

1. Maturity: Maturity means knowing Christ as Savior and Lord and growing as his disciple. This involves membership, worship and discipleship.
2. Ministry: Ministry is doing the work of the gospel, serving Christ in evangelism and edification of those within the church and without.

Thus, the focus of the Vision of our church is maturity and ministry. We envision a church of mature believers who engage in ministry wherever they might find themselves.
